Impact100 Wichita Falls’ goal is to provide high-impact grants that reach under-served populations, support nonprofits, and highlight unmet needs in our community. Through grant-making, we invest in nonprofits financially and by partnering with them to familiarize ourselves with their programs, services, and the communities they serve. In return, our partners assure us our process allows them to think bigger and more strategically about the work they do and the impact they have.

First Step’s offender accountability program (designated as “BIPP,” which stands for Battering Intervention and Prevention Program) will recruit and train facilitators for accreditation with the program. All facilitators must be fingerprinted, and background checked by state and nationally approved agencies to qualify as facilitators. Administration of the program requires documentation such as court notifications, victim notifications, offender attendance records, group rules/guidelines, financial tracking (fee collection and payments for supplies and facilitators), audit compliance, renewal schedules, and other management duties by a dedicated staff person that we will need to hire. A laptop will be required with specific BIPP software to comply with state regulations. First Step, Inc. anticipates up to 100 offenders going through this program every six months based on calculations by our population and other programs around the state.
